All Moved in!

So I am officially moved in! It's been a long couple days, but they have been great!

Brenna wasn't exactly the happiest with me.

Porter was excited that we could now actually have a "texting relationship"

Mom was great with helping me get everything settled!

Last night Katie decided that she wanted to slide down the stairs in a box!

All of our clothes actually fit with room to spare!

Our beds are really comfy!

Oh and this was my dinner tonight...got it all cooked and realized I didn't have Ketchup or fry sauce...I improvised with Salad dressing....It actually tasted pretty good!

All Packed

I packed up everything (I hope) that I need. I move on Monday and it's all ready to go...it's weird. Oh and in the pictures below please ignore the mess...I was packing! Haha :)

Porter helped me pack everything.

I did try to pack Brenna though, she didn't fit.

Last Race

My Grandpa Craig was a pretty amazing person from what I've heard. He was certainly dearly loved by his family. He died at the young age of 44 in the process of getting a heart transplant due to cardiomyopothy. My mother was pregnant with me and had just moved into her new house. My sister had known my grandpa in this life and has fond memories of him.

Every year (including the year he died) they have ridden a memorial horse race for him in Malad. Today was the last race. I have enjoyed being able to go to them and remember him on the race track. He loved horses and goodness knows I do enjoy a good race.  Here are some pictures of the race and of him.

Grandpa and some of his favorite things. His Chevy truck, his horses, and the pirates.
One of the horses that was chillin' in the shade.

A pretty flower that I really liked!

"The best way to have Heaven in your Home is to have someone you love in Heaven."

Grandpa Craig is the one in the back.

"And they're off!"

Almost to the finish! The 6 horse won. With the appropriate name "The Widow maker"

I'm sad that after such a good run that it's over but I think it was very well done. I hope that Grandpa would be proud of who I am!

Ma'am and Last Day

Okay, so last night after work I stopped at WalMart on my way home as I was walking out a guy that I just graduated with said to me "Have a good day Ma'am." Really? Ma'am? I went to school with this kid. He sat by me at graduation! Goodness!

If you can't tell I was irked by it! Anyways...

Today is my last day working for America First Credit Union. It really quite sad. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the company and wish it had lasted a little longer. I love all the people that I worked with and will miss them so much! But I am up for change.

I start work at USU Bookstore on Monday and am excited to be able to work on campus. But I will be frequenting Maceys to say hello to all of my friends there.

I'm excited to start my new job and get to know some new people! I'm going to really start packing up my room this week! 9 days!!!

Wanna Hear Something Kinda Weird?

Well I'll just dive right in.Well I don't know if you read it but in April I told you about a dream of mine. It had to do with getting engaged. Well since that dream (which was the exact same for 36 days...yes I counted cause it kind of freaked me out a little...) I have had at least one dream a week about getting engaged. It is so weird and Kind of freaking me out a little.

So last night had another dream about getting engaged. Basically I told my roommates they all freaked, my now fiance came to get me (We were going to go to my parents house and share the news with my siblings) and my roommates were way excited and hugged he and I. Then we got to my parents house told my siblings and it all fell apart.

My sister Brenna (in the above picture) started bawling and telling me that I was an awful person for getting married and leaving her with our family. My brother Porter punched my fiance in the nose.

And my big sister Kaitlyn was too shocked to say anything. My parents just smiled said congratulations and shoved us out the door. Not exactly the type of reactions a girl would think to find huh?

Yep it was weird alright. Personally I blame all the people that have told me that Old Farm is where students live if they want to get married for these dreams. I mean goodness knows it's not going to actually happen! :D

P.S. Convenient picture to have eh? It's for the photo journal Brenna and I started. It represents one of the nights that we talked about the remote possibility of me getting married anytime soon. If you can't tell, this topic seems to come up a lot in my life.

College prep!

Okay, so I'm a really lucky girl and have the best family ever! My big sister Kaitlyn is graduating from Utah State this December in Elementary Education. She's going to be a great teacher. I feel like such a slacker...but for graduation she put together a "college survival kit" for me. I finally took pictures of it all.

She spent a lot of time putting it all together for me and even took the time to write a cute little note with all of it! She's the greatest.

Dish Cloth

Chap Stick...Don't know what I'll need that for! ;)

Dryer Sheets, I liked her subtlety in this one :D

Paperclips, stapler and tape

Sandwich bags

Vegetable Peeler

Can Opener

Windex...sorry it's sideways

Scissors

Bag clips

Oven Mits. It says, "For when you're "feelin' the heat""

...highlighter

Grater

Sticky Notes!

Campus map and Shuttle schedule!

Yeah...it's a tatoo...I'm totally going to need this.

Mixing bowl and rubber Scraper. It Says "To mix things up when you're feeling down."

Needless to say she did pretty amazing with all of this. She said these were all things that she didn't think of needing until she had moved into her apartment and needed them. I was so excited to go through it and see the variety of things.

In preparation of moving out my mom has also put together some things for me as well. And my grandma gave me really, really nice pots and pans! I have a great family, have I mentioned that already?

Swimming and Gardening

So, my little brother is a pretty cool guy. Last week he went to Kearns and swam at Junior Olympics state meet. This week however my parents and little sister Brenna are in Clovis, California cheering him on as he swims against kids from all over the western United States! He's doing really well and I'm way excited for him.

While they're gone though I've been charged with taking care of the garden. A few years ago my dad decided to start doing garden boxes, it's been fun and he really seems to enjoy helping things grow that benefit our family. So I was a little nervous to take over the garden while he was gone, especially with such a variety of plants. We have beans, onions, corn, raspberries, tomatoes, spaghetti squash, cucumbers, two peach trees,  an apple tree, and of course flowers. But I think it's doing well! Here are some pic's to prove it:

I think it's pretty good. I kinda wish I was there with them, but I am thoroughly enjoying the peace and quiet at home, as well as spending time with Kaitlyn!
